First I like to introduce myself to you, my name is Nannette Schenk. For several years I have created dolls which gives me great pleasure.
My dolls are usually made of paperclay of polymer clay. Dressing up these characters, like combining materials and mixing all sorts of paints in so many vibrant colours is my favourite thing.
While creating each character their names are revealed to me. You might say they come alive.

I have taught many doll making courses. Together we have so much fun and laughter as each student creates their own characters. The pleasure it gives me is priceless.

In November 2007 I will start teaching more workshops in creating fulle sculpts, busts or other forms of dolls.
